For us, a refurbished product meets 3-key criteria:
1. It has had a previous life (owned by an individual or a company).
2. It has been checked and tested on more than 25 points of functionality before being offered for sale again. And, if necessary, it has been upgraded and repaired. Which brings us to our third point.
3. In terms of technical performance, it is fully functional and comes with a 1-year warranty. In terms of aesthetics, it will depend on its grade.
This can unfortunately happen due to a problem during the transport of
the product. In order to solve the situation, we need to open an investigation
with our carrier. To do this, we ask you to declare as soon as possible (within
24 hours maximum after receipt) the deterioration of the content of the
package.
We advise you to visit the official website of the phone manufacturer
(Apple, Samsung, Nokia etc), so that they can confirm the compatible format of
the sim card for the phone concerned. In addition, phones are systematically
delivered without the SIM card. Please contact a telephone operator if you wish
to obtain one. To find out whether your sim card/mobile package will be
compatible with a phone sold by aSmartWorld, we recommend that you always check
with your telephone operator to find out whether the SIM card you have will be
compatible with the model of phone you want.
There is only one rule regarding trade-in: the device must be able to find a buyer. Therefore, we buy phones that are still considered recent (no more than 5 to 6 years after their release) and that are likely to be taken back from a private individual (no Nokia 3310 for example...).
The devices we receive are systematically and completely emptied of their data as soon as they are received. There is therefore no risk of them wandering around in the wilderness. Before sending your mobile, you can also delete all your data like this :
On iPhone: the easiest way is to sync your device to a computer via iTunes. You can then update all your data on your new device later.
On Android: you can store your contacts on your SIM card, they will then be updated directly on your new device by turning it on with your card.
No, you must have unlocked it beforehand. You don’t know what it means?
Don’t worry, we can explain it to you:
If you bought a smartphone at a lower price because of a subscription
period, you need to have paid the full amount of what you owe to the operator
before you can send us your smartphone, or cancel your subscription.
For example, if you bought a smartphone at 300€ for a 2-year
subscription at 50€ a month, you need to have reached the end of the 2-year
contract.
If so, we can retrieve your device and restore it to find it a new
owner.
Otherwise, the operator may block the device.
To get started, contact us at our address explaining the problem. If it's a technical problem under warranty, we will take care of the return of the device as well as the repair. For other problems, we will do our best to find a solution adapted to the situation.
